Starving College Girl is the official blog of Lesley Chang (the cartoon vector girl you see there). It’s meant as an outlet for me to tell people about my journey through school to obtain my Public Relations diploma from Kwantlen Polytechnic University, starting September 2009.
I am truly enthusiastic about starting school, but am also worried about the $9500 required for the two years’ tuition. Going back to school will require me to be financially vigilant, and the ongoing joke is that my simplest pleasure will be a $0.98 donut from Tim Horton’s.
So I started this blog in hopes of raising some form of funds for my tuition.* It’s also meant for people to take a look at how I hope to climb the PR ladder, and to showcase projects that I come up with for school and other outlets.
As for myself, I’ve got a lot of experience designing websites, but not a lot of experience customizing wordpress sites. I’m getting better (slowly), and there will be more sites from me – no doubt! Currently, I’m working on The Vancouver Short Film Festival, as well as Erin Raimondo’s personal blog. I also run an online paper flower shop, The Paper Garden.
