I stayed at a Sandman for a badminton tournament when I was 7 or 8…I remember the pool being amazing, and open ‘super late’. In reality, it was probably only open until 9 or so, but getting the chance to swim after bedtime was a big deal to my child self!
I’ve never stayed at a Sandman before but keep going to Moxies… hahaha
I don’t recall ever staying at a Sandman, but I’ll gladly check them out if it’s on the house!
I’ve stayed at the Sandman in Vernon for a week – I was going to the Interior Pacific Exhibition in Armstrong and it was only about a 20 minute drive from the Sandman. First thing that came to mind was how convenient and cozy the place I stayed in was! There was a kitchenette, two beds and plenty of space. All this, for a very affordable rate. The staff there was also very friendly and willing to help with directions and offer suggestions on where to go eat and how to get back to the airport in Kelowna.
So what does Sandman mean to me? In a nutshell, a comfortable, affordable and welcoming place to stay
I’ve stayed at the Sandman in Vancouver a couple of times. It is extremely close to most venues (ie: walking distance to almost everything). The prices are reasonable for the area and the rooms are clean, bright and fairly large. We usually stay there when we go to Vancouver for a concert or hockey game.
Thank you so much!! =)
Congrats to Dilara, but I was so hoping/expecting that I’d win. LOL.
