Dot Com Pho – Beefy Beef Noodle House

Dot Com mogul John Chow holds these weekly Saturday lunches in Vancouver called Dot Com Pho. Each week, we’ll go to a different restaurant and just have fun, chill, relax and make a few new friends. Dot Com Pho regulars include Stephen Fung, Greg from BCMBlog.com, Ed Lau and of course, John Chow. Other regulars usually include Michael Kwan and Gary Ng, but they weren’t in attendance yesterday.

This time, we’re at Beefy Beef Noodle House on Main and King Edward in Vancouver. I managed to successfully wake up Ed by calling him at 11:30am, and we headed down. John filmed the lunch, as he usually does, and this is the result…

I really should get out to more of the DotComPho. It’s weird, I am closer to them and I’m less likely to go because I’m always busy on the weekends now.

Did someone end up explaining to John the difference between testicles and tentacles? Cause the whole time he thought tentacles were testicles, haha, which is why he thought it was such a weird dish.

No, we couldn’t get it through his thick skull that squid tentacles were not testicles, despite Ed’s best efforts!

It’s not bad. I think the overall experience was “Man, that’s one pink drink.”
