Today’s Lesson: Donating to Charities… Every single week.

Donating to charity
Do you…
A) Put your foot down and say no.
B) Donate only to the causes you believe in.
C) Cave and donate a minimal amount after they’ve badgered you repeatedly.
D) Blame the economy.
Truth is, there’s always going to be a charity, an organization, or a cause that’s worth giving your hard earned money to. Which ones you donate to, are up to you. There is no reason to feel bad for putting your foot down and saying “No, I can’t donate”, especially if you don’t believe in the cause. However, if you do believe in the cause and just cannot donate due to your finances (or the economy), tell them exactly that. The more you try and dodge a donation, the more stingy you’ll look to your coworkers and friends. Honesty is key with donating.
